(Ah, so there was a person in the vicinity after all…)

Hearing the voice immediately confirmed his suspicions that he was indeed not alone. Ciel’s gaze zeroed in on where he presumed the voice to be coming from, though he did not yet see a person to go along with the voice. Unsure if who he was now conversing with was keeping him in her sights (though he suspected that he was), Ciel still nodded as a beginning to his response.

I’ve come from London to oversee the production of my company’s latest expansion, we’re to build a factory in the area as part of expanding the company into the Colonies territories. I was informed to go straight into Richmond following my arrival, I was not told that I was to meet someone along the way. Who exactly is your father if I may ask and what business would he have with myself?

Pocahontas couldn’t stop the small scowl cross her features. She always believed that the English took their boundaries too far into her tribe’s land. She decided to step out from behind the tree to look at the younger teen.

“My father is the chief that owns the land….I believe that the Englishmen have not told my father.” Pocahontas spoke in a low voice and looked at the dirt road where once many trees grew and other wildlife. The ravenette heaved a sigh. “Expanding your company? I see….” She murmured and her dark hues looked down at the ground.

Ciel was still yet to know much about this person except for the fact that she was a woman, but given his question a few seconds prior, the wait wouldn’t be much longer. The scowl was slightly surprisingly given the neutral tone of his voice, but nothing was said on it by the Earl. To the best of his knowledge no laws were being broken by the construction plans, and if any had been then measures would’ve been taken to ensure that everything to be done was within legal boundaries.

Odd, I also don’t recall being told that any people were occupying this land besides the Colonists in Virginia, but I did not see any signs of civilization in the areas I’ve been to since I made port about an hour ago. And yes, Funtom is a confectioners manufacturer, one of our primary products is children’s toys amongst other things. We’ve got several factories over in Europe and I decided it would be a worthwhile venture to see what business the new land would bring in.

Your face is a bit….displeased to hear of this. There isn’t going to be a problem I trust? I’ve not broken any laws regarding the building plans, it’s in the forest but closer to Richmond than the shore, it’s about half an hour from here by carriage I’m told.
